Observation
Given that so few candidates answered it, this is a very unpopular question. Many of the people who tried it did miserably. To create the contour map of the region occupied by Maximus Farms, candidates were required to connect points of equal value with lines.The few candidates that attempted the question did not comprehend its requirements, which is why they performed poorly.
Weaknesses of candidates
The following are some of the candidates' poor points:
(1). Map-making
In general, the majority of candidates did not adequately respond to Question 1. Many of them in particular struggled to appropriately respond to the gradient question. Many people were unable to respond to the question that asked them to shrink the map to one-third of its original size and specify the new scale.
Candidates are expected to buy books on topographical maps and practical geography well in advance of the exam so they have enough time to practice using the maps effectively.
(2) Poor comprehension of the inquiries
The majority of candidates hurried into responding to questions before completely comprehending their requirements. Candidates are advised to spend a short while reviewing

Some candidates utilized the future tense when they should have used the past tense, and their scripts contained spelling errors as well.
Candidates must regularly read English textbooks, novels, literary works, and journals to improve their grammatical expressions.
(4) Insufficient clarification of the points
Many candidates have a tendency to just state the arguments without providing adequate justification; this costs them significant points.
To receive full credit, applicants must clearly state their arguments and back them up with diagrams, when needed.
Candidates' Potential
Candidates who did a good job of preparing for the test did well, particularly on questions that asked about the functions of settlement and the shreds of evidence that go along with them, the significance of soil, rotation and its impacts, and the elements that speed up tropical weathering processes.
